My work begins with listening for whats trying to emerge…
Most businesses don't need another strategy.
That usually surprises people because I spend a lot of time helping clients with offers, messaging and sales.
So yes...
Strategy matters. Sales matter. Clear messaging matters.
But over the years I've noticed something.
The strategies that work beautifully for one person can feel like dragging a fridge uphill for someone else.
Not because they're lazy.
Not because they lack discipline.
And usually not because they're doing it wrong.
It simply wasn't time.
Often…
We've become so used to building businesses from our heads that we stop paying attention to what's actually happening.
We decide we "should" launch a group programme because someone else made it work.
We force ourselves to create passive income because that's what successful businesses do.
We set an income goal and work backwards from the number.
Sometimes it works. Sometimes it feels strangely heavy.
My experience has been that the ideas with the most life rarely arrive that way.
❋ They arrive much more quietly.
❋ They keep returning.
❋ They won't leave you alone.
❋ They begin showing up in conversations.
❋ Clients start asking for them before you've announced anything.
I pay attention to those moments…
Because I don't think they're random.
I'm listening for what's trying to emerge.
The detail you casually mentioned forty minutes ago that turns out to be the missing piece.
The idea you've dismissed because it feels too obvious.
The thread connecting your childhood, your work, your clients and the thing you can't stop thinking about.
Eventually those threads begin weaving themselves into something neither of us could see at the beginning of the conversation.
Everything starts speaking the same language, and there's a quiet hum of things clicking into place.
Suddenly your business makes sense.
Your offers make sense.
Your marketing sounds like you.
Your clients understand why they need you.
Some ideas arrive fully cooked. Others are still simmering.
The trouble is, we're often taught to treat them the same. We force ideas that haven't ripened.
We ignore the ones quietly asking for our attention. Then we wonder why business feels so hard.
Sometimes the next breakthrough has very little to do with your business.
It might be a conversation you've been avoiding, a relationship that's asking for care, a belief you've quietly outgrown, or a pattern that's been shaping your decisions without you even realising it.
Because your business doesn't exist in isolation. It grows from the person building it.
Before we create, we often have to make space.
Together, we untangle what's become heavy, notice the patterns that no longer serve you, and release the things that have been draining your attention and energy.
It's not the end goal, but it is often the work that makes everything else possible.
Then something shifts.
The ideas become easier to see. What once felt complicated begins to feel surprisingly simple.
Instead of forcing your next move, you can finally recognise what's genuinely ready to emerge.
That's when the real creative work begins.
